At Yeoman's, Michelle helps customers order books through our online bookstore. That means everything from searching our inventory, tracking orders, fulfilling gift services, and handling delivery specifications. And she does it all with the utmost respect for each item and its importance to you, the collector. She has been trained in listing, uses her previous experience of archival matting, and hopes to become an apprentice bookbinder in the near future.
Michelle received a bachelor's in accounting and quickly realized that the formal corporate world was not to her liking. As a craftsman at heart, she ended up working for several companies doing jobs that allowed her a creative outlet and decided a career change was needed.
She enrolled in design school in Nashville and through a mutual friend, was introduced to and hired by Mike Cotter. Working in the rare book industry has allowed her to be among her loves of books, history and the arts.
