GUITARFEST IN 'THE FORK' ON MAY 1ST!! Time to take a little break from our roots and tell you all a little about an event in 'The Fork' (our home of Leiper's Fork that is...) that has captivated us and is sure to make for a great time. On May 1st, 2010, Leiper's Creek Gallery (just up the street from us) is playing host to an amazing celebration of the guitar. 'Guitarfest' is the culmination of years of collecting and will feature live music as well as a tremendous display of a few amazing vintage guitars. Classic instruments and a few that were used by artists like Eric Clapton and Johnny Cash will be on exhibit at the Gallery. Like our store and our events, you don't have to be an expert in the field to enjoy the show and appreciate a craft for the art that it really is. We are so proud to be part of a community that celebrates and explores the tangible pieces of the past that seem to be quickly vanishing from our digital society. Hats off to Lisa and all those who have made 'Guitarfest' a reality!
