For the past couple of years now we have been involved in the wild world of Fantasy Football with several fellow book dealers. We play on the official NFL website and have a great time all year battling it out to see who will reign supreme at the end. The champion, of course, has bragging rights for a year and doesn't have to endure the trash talking comments of the also-rans. We were fortunate to win it all in our very first year of playing in the league, much to the chagrin of the veterans who had been around for years. They were gunning for us the following year and we had a very dismal season to say the least. This year, our hope springs eternal. We had a great draft and now the games have begun. We are 2-1 so far this young season and have eked out two victories where we could have easily been defeated. Those who play fantasy football can certainly relate to the angst of deciding who to play each week and the even greater stress of watching the games unfold and hoping that your players can come through.

Fantasy football certainly does add to the excitement of the NFL and also to the fan's knowledge of the league and players of teams other than his/her favorite. Good luck to all of you out there. We would love to hear from all of you football fans out there! Let us know how your fantasy teams are doing. If you can make it out to our Shop we would love to talk football (and books, of course). We hope you have a great season! We at Yeoman's LOVE our football!!
