I may not look like the type, but I've toyed around with the idea of getting a tattoo for quite some time now but haven't ever nailed down anything that I could stand to live with for the rest of my life. My tastes change pretty regularly and what may be my favorite thing in the world right now could be meaningless in the next year or so (Okay, maybe not quite that drastic, but this is a tattoo we're talking about). Then I ran across this website that showed a few pictures of "literary tattoos"...GENIUS! So I've narrowed it down to an Austen quote or a Shel Silverstein illustration. And that's as far as I've gotten, which is pretty good for me (decisions aren't really my strong suit). If you want to look at some literary tattoos for a little inspiration, check out http://www.contrariwise.org/. And if permanent ink isn't really your style, how about wearing a t-shirt displaying cover art of some of your favorite novels like these: http://www.outofprintclothing.com/ . Happy hunting!
