This past weekend we had the pleasure of exhibiting some of our wears at the annual Middle Tennessee Civil War Exhibition. While I must admit that it was freezing outside and the temperature inside was a little cool as well, the comradery and sales were off the charts. This was the first year that Mike Kent (the show's promoter and a heck of a nice guy) and Co. hosted the show in Williamson County instead of the usual Davidson County Fairgrounds in Nashville. It seemed like the move and the venue fit the show much better and that the Ag Center just outside of Franklin will be the future permanent home of the show! That is great news for us as it is in our backyard.
The food was good, the show was well attended and we were actually able to find a lot of great deals for the taking. Over the course of the next few weeks you will see a few of the items up for sale that we bought including an AMAZING THOMAS JEFFERSON SIGNED LETTER!! For the Yeoman's vault, we were actually able to secure another Thomas Hart Benton (the Senator from Missouri who was born about a mile from our shop) signed letter in the original envelope!!! Thanks to all of the regulars who stopped by the talk with us and it was great to see you all... Check out the photos of the show and even a shot of me with author Benjamin Franklin Cooling. Thanks for all of your continued support Mr. Cooling.
SEE YOU ALL NEXT YEAR OR IN CHARLESTON IN JANUARY!
