Our first Rare Book Social has come and gone... After a few hours of talking with customers and collectors alike, I must say that the event went off without a hitch. As with most things, the wine seemed to help and folks obviously enjoyed themselves more and more after each glass! It is a pleasure and a privilege to offer the social environment we all look for in a bookstore this day and age. We are a real store with REAL BOOKS!

SPECIAL THANKS TO JACK MASTERS AND CREW WHO CAME OUT TO THE SHOP TODAY TO SIGN COPIES OF THE NEW 'THOROUGHFARE FOR FREEDOM.' Our best wishes are sent out to Bill Puryear for a speedy recovery. The dynamic duo of Jack and Bill brought us 'The Founding of the Cumberland Settlement' last year and the new 'Thoroughfare' just a week or so ago. We now have signed copies available for purchase.
