Painting the fore-edge of books has become an avenue to look at some aspects of life in a different way. Just when you think you have something all figured out, a figurative jack- in-the box appears. While this is loads of fun for children, as an adult some surprises bring something other than laughter. And that is because they make us realize we have not been seeing life quite as clearly as we thought.
Do you remember the jack-in-the box in Harry Potter? It taught the children that ending their fear and replacing it with laughter was simple, and their world now looked differently. What you may ask does any of this have to do with books!
Books bring so much to us. They bring beauty, insight, a wealth of knowledge, entertainment, and sometimes wisdom and truth. When you invest yourself into a book or any project I guarantee you will discover something new about yourself and start seeing the world just a little bit differently.
If you would like to ask me a question about fore-edge painting or just what’s on your mind, drop me an email and I will do my best to address it in the next blog. Have a great life!
