As everyone has noticed, we at Yeoman's like to cover and post the stories that we believe have an impact on the world of books. This world of books and the written word can sometimes blur into other arenas in our online campaigns, but books and how the world is changing in the print world is our true obsession... Make no mistake, ebooks and the like are here to stay! This is a fascinating time to be doing what it is that I do for a living... The rare bookstore is for discussion, collecting and rediscovering the passion that once took hold of you so many years ago. The rare bookstore is a place to assemble a fine collection of the historical pieces that have shaped our world and changed our hearts. The mainstream bookstore is in the midst of troubled times and everyone knows it. The eBook stores will soon take over and libraries at grade schools will be filled with computers and not the printed treasures I hold so dear... The rare bookstore is in its heyday (or will be soon :) and as the times change, I am betting that more and more will come to join our battle for the book! Hold tight and keep digging out there for those treasures my friends. You never know where a 'Gatsby' is going to turn up or which 30 something is going to be willing to shill out big-time for it in a few short years.

THIS IS THE ARTICLE THAT WAS THE CATALYST FOR THE BLOG ABOVE...

Do you need a librarian for access to the digital library that awaits???
