Leip into History Day
Yeoman’s in the Fork, Rare Book and Document Gallery in historic Leiper’s Fork, located at 4216 Old Hillsboro Road, Franklin, TN will be hosting their first annual “Leip into History Day”, Saturday, October 2nd, 2010 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Events will be held at Yeoman’s in the Fork, Rare Book and Document Gallery and at Hillsboro United Methodist directly behind the store, located at 5316 Old State Highway 96, Franklin, TN.

Events for the day will include:

2:00 pm to 3:00 pm - The Circa History Guild’s Chief Historian, Bill Potter will give a fascinating lecture on Stonewall Jackson.

3:30 pm to 4:00 pm – Robert Hicks, New York Time Best Selling author of “The Widow of the South” and “A Separate Country” will give a lecture on both his novels and his work and research at Carnton Plantation.

4:30 pm to 5:00 pm – Timothy D. Johnson, PH.D, Professor of History at Lipscomb University will provide insight on his book “Winfield Scott” along with discussion on his newly released book “Liberty vs. Power: The Founding Fathers’ Vision for America”.

5:30 pm to 6:30 pm – Rick Warwick, local Author and Historian will be giving a “Visual tour of Leiper’s Fork”.
