Batman and Superman comics get record sales at auction!

Comic books featuring the first appearances of iconic characters Batman and Superman each sold for over a million dollars last week! They were sold at Sotheby's auctions with Superman's debut (Action Comics #1) fetching $1 million on Monday and Batman's debut (Detective Comics #27) besting it on Thursday by fetching $1,075,000. Both were in "very fine" condition, which is extremely rare for each comic which is perhaps why they sold for such a high price. Maybe it's time to start going through your old comics collection!
